The family-friendly holiday house under thatch offers plenty of space for a relaxing holiday. It is located on the side facing the Baltic Sea beach in a holiday home area. Due to its quiet, sunny location on the edge of the landscape conservation area cooling you have a good view of the surrounding meadows and fields. On the top floor there is a view of the Baltic Sea, which is only a few hundred meters away. There is a clear view of the sea, passing ships and a distant view to the Fehmarnsund Bridge or to Denmark. The holiday home Strandgut has modern, high-quality equipment and offers plenty of space for 2 to 8 people (plus baby cot). The cot and high chair are available for younger guests. Two beds in the attic have an additional pull-out function. The single beds on the ground floor and on the upper floor can be set up as double beds. This ensures a flexible division of rooms, especially for families. A romantic bedroom with a large double bed and illuminated roof beams fulfill dreams under thatch. The holiday home was rented for the first time in 2019. Modern geothermal heating and a thatched roof are part of the equipment of the house. It has wifi.

Our house is located between Wismar and Rostock, close enough to the pulse of the cities and yet away from the hustle and bustle of the large Baltic Sea baths. Rerik is a place with intact nature, good medical care and a historical center with short distances. With the existing bicycles you can reach Kühlungsborn (12 km), Heiligendamm (19 km) or Bad Doberan (20 km). Experience the beauties of the Hanseatic cities from a completely new perspective and be enchanted by the tranquility and nature at the Salzhaff. To the Baltic Sea beach, follow the path that leads past the house and reach the water in just 900 m. From the balcony there is a fantastic view of fields, the forest, the nearby sea and a wonderful sunset over the Baltic Sea.

Enjoy an Italian meal in the evening sun at the harbor. Get to know the special atmosphere at the Salzhaff. Visit stylish restaurants and let yourself be pampered in particular by Sicilian chefs. From the terrace in the harbor you have a perfect view of the lagoon and the surrounding nature. We can also recommend breakfast on the beach in the traditional Graf bakery.
Local fishermen supply guests, residents and restaurants daily with fresh fish from the salt lagoon and from the nets off the Baltic Sea coast.

We do everything to make our guests' stay as pleasant as possible. You will find a barbecue on or in the holiday home (please only use the existing e-grill), bicycles (free of charge), garden furniture, a clothes dryer and a washing machine. The kitchen is equipped with a coffee machine, oven, hob and fridge. WLAN (16 Mbit / s) is available throughout the house. Up to 4 rooms have a TV or radio.
